Windsor Guanabara Hotel, Rio de Janeiro

I stayed at the hotel and found it to be a pleasant experience overall. The rooms, while in need of renovation, were clean and had all the amenities I needed. The service was excellent with friendly and helpful staff. The location, despite some aspects, was advantageous for business and accessing key areas. The dining options were good, and the facilities met my needs.

The hotel is in a central location, great for exploring the city and doing business. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped but lacking a tea and coffee station and working AC. The service is excellent, despite language barriers, with a helpful and friendly staff. The location is convenient for both leisure and business travelers, close to restaurants and major attractions. The dining experience is good with a good selection but can get overcrowded. The facilities are adequate but might feel overcrowded at times.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were lovely, with a stunning view of the Church Nossa Senhora da Candelaria, clean, and spacious, but unfortunately, the air conditioning didn't work well, leaving the room uncomfortably hot. The location was convenient, being close to public transportation and the cruise terminal, but the presence of homeless people made me feel uneasy at times.
